Discovery Shores Boracay, a sprawling beachfront property located on the unspoilt shores of Boracay Island in the Philippines, is the first luxury resort built in this majestic region. Apart from 88 luxurious guestrooms and the world-class Terra Wellness Spa overlooking the beach, Discovery Shores’s facilities include the SANDS Restaurant, INDIGO Restaurant, the SANDBAR beach bar, a sunken pool bar, SANDBOX kiddie lounge, a swimming pool, a meeting room, and event hall, recreation room and gym. Discovery Shores Boracay is the Philippines' first member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is developed, owned and managed by The Discovery Leisure Company (TDLC).


	ROOM TYPES
	- JUNIOR SUITE Averaging 40 to 45 square meters, guests can select from rooms with either two queen size beds or one king size bed, depending on the occupants’ requirements. All Junior Suites come with an extra day bed for lounging which doubles as sleeping for the third occupant in the room. Bathrooms have an open feel because of the full glass feature on one wall that overlooks a rock garden.
	- 1 BEDROOM SUITE Averaging 65 square meters, this room is considerably bigger and is ideal for four to five guests. This room includes a spacious living area, a nook, a bar, and a separate bedroom with two queen size beds. The L-shaped sofa at the living area doubles as a sleeping space for two other guests checking in.
	- 1 BEDROOM SUITE PREMIERE Averaging 60 square meters of space, this room is relatively smaller on the lower level, compared to the other One Bedroom Suites. The space is somehow similar to the Junior Suites, however, the mezzanine level features a personal space on the deck with a breathtaking view of the beach or the beautiful landscape of the resort.
	- 2 BEDROOM SUITE Averaging 120 square meters of space, this room is perfect for big groups of family or friends. The room includes a spacious living area, a dining area, a bar, two private rooms each with its own toilet and bath, one of which has access to and from the living area for convenience of guests staying outside the bedroom. The Two Bedroom Suites also feature a balcony with a splendid view of the greens and the sky.
	- 2 BEDROOM PREMIERE Averaging 120 square meters in interior space, this room is similar to the Two Bedroom Suites. However, sleeping spaces are located separately – one on the first level, and the other, on the mezzanine level. The suite features a very spacious private deck located on the first level of the room with an outdoor private Jacuzzi. View is remarkable and breathtaking as you look towards the cascading waters of the resort’s landscape, with its very soothing natural greens and relaxing scenes of the skies.

PLATITOS

Ideal for casual grazing with cocktails, PLATITOS features flavorful bites specially designed to tease the palate, entertain the eye, and encourage lively conversation. The elegant array of amuse-bouche (literally "mouth amusement") or tiny servings set diners up for a culinary adventure through a profusion of flavors from all corners of the world, strongly influenced by the Catalonian Coast , the Aegean Islands and the Italian Mediterranean.

Guests can enjoy a simple, light Spanish Tapa to add substance to a cold beer or make a full meal out of an assortment of Greek Mezze, Mediterranean Antipasti, Venetian 'Chiccheti" and Filipino Pica-Pica.

SANDS RESTAURANT

Blessed with spectacular views of the ocean, The Sands Restaurant’s design and culinary principle captures the elegant, laid-back flavor of the Island. ¨The dining area combines the cozy ambiance of luxury dining with the uninhibited sense of the idyllic beach life.
